As a game developer, we get a lot of emails. Especially when you release a new game on Steam or another platform, you can receive hundreds of emails with identical content, asking you to provide them with Steam Keys for your game in exchange for coverage. Normally, they ask for 3–10 Steam Keys and promise to review or cover your game on their channels (Steam Curator Page, YouTube, Twitch, etc.), but the reality is they often do nothing and simply take the Steam Keys you gave them, reselling them on Steam Key marketplaces for as low as 5–20% of the price you are selling your game for. So why would you want to work with someone who intends to scam you? Well, don’t. This is my personal experience, and that is why I decided to create this website — so any developer can check a service provider before giving out large numbers of Steam Keys in return for nothing.

I want to stop scammers from making a living off developers. I have nothing against honest streamers and reviewers; in fact, I believe their work is super important in our industry. But scammers with profiles on platforms like Eneba, boasting a total of 100,000 sales, cannot be tolerated. It is your work, your time, and your money — don’t let these people live off you.
